Pastor Omar Burton, Jr. serves as the Lead Pastor of Experience Church DMV, a vibrant and growing ministry based in Alexandria, Virginia. With a passion for transformative preaching, outreach, and worship, Pastor Omar is widely recognized not only for his leadership in the pulpit but also for his creative work as a gospel artist under the stage name Focus.

Before stepping into lead pastoral ministry, Pastor Omar dedicated over a decade to serving as a full-time youth pastor, where he helped shape the next generation of believers with authenticity, energy, and love. He also faithfully served for three years as the chaplain for the Norfolk State University football team, providing spiritual guidance and mentorship to student-athletes both on and off the field.

A seminary-trained theologian, Pastor Omar graduated with honors in 2021, further equipping him to rightly divide the Word and lead with both passion and precision.

As a committed missionary and philanthropist, he partnered with The Renaissance Movement to fund and construct a Safe House in Pretoria, South Africa, offering refuge and restoration for abandoned children at risk of sex trafficking. For three consecutive years, he also traveled to Nairobi, Kenya, where he preached the Gospel and ministered through music—living out the call of his life verse:

Luke 4:18 – “The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for He has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free.”

Above all, Pastor Omar is a devoted husband, joyfully married to Ariana Burton, and continues to live out his calling to see lives transformed through the power, presence, and love of Jesus Christ. Whether from the pulpit, through music, or across borders.
